From the Secretary
Brethren,
It is a pleasure to serve you as your secretary this year and I thank the Master and our Assistant Secretary, Bro. Gilbert Batanga, for their cooperation and assistance. The month of May is the fifth month of the year and close to another milestone of reporting on the financial status of our lodge in June. I do need the cooperation of some of our brethren who haven’t paid their dues at this time not just for filing my semi-annual financial report but by them fulfilling their obligation to the lodge of financial support.
At this time 57 members are still in arrears for reasons ranging from being unreachable to procrastination. But my brothers, do not delay any longer I
ask this of you. There are brethren whose name I have forwarded to our Charity Committee, who need
our support by remitting their dues and I hope the lodge will act on their dues remission soon. For everyone’s information out>
of the $60 dues you send $32 of that amount go out of the lodge’s treasury and pays for the Grand Lodge per capita assessment.
That means at this time the “lodge” will have to pay $1,824 out of pocket which will be a big drain in our finances
which we can not afford.
If you know a brother who has moved please get in touch with him. Let him know we need him and tell him to get in touch with me as soon as possible. That’s our obligation to one another! Thank you my brethren.
Fraternally,
Reuben B. Zari, Secretary
