From the Secretary

Brethren,

Fraternal Greetings! The past years have been hard to most of us particularly in regards to our finances. Unfortunately our lodge finances have suffered the same fate and despite some belt tightening measures our financial resources have fallen short. In the last quarter of this year your lodge executive committee put forward a resolution which permanently changed the dues structure of our lodge which responds to its current and future needs as well as to our obligation to Grand Lodge. In our November Stated meeting the brethren unanimously approved a change in Article III Section 2 of our By-laws which establishes sixty dollars ($60.00) dues for each member plus the per capita sum established by Grand Lodge which is currently at thirty four dollars ($34.00). We are hopeful that this change will serve us for many years to come. The established rate of for our dues this coming Masonic year is now ninety four dollars ($94.00) payable in advance by no later than January 1st of each year.

If anyone would like to avail of our life membership program you can pay for a life membership at the old rate as prescribed by our California Masonic Code (CMC) as follows:

Under age 49, 21 times annual dues ; $1,260.00
50 to 54 inclusive, 19 times annual dues; $1,140.00
55 to 59 inclusive, 17 times annual dues; $1,020.00
60 to 64 inclusive, 14 times annual dues; $840.00
and 65 and over, 11 times annual dues. $660.00
These rates will end on December 31, 2010.
